On November 29th, Blastic Heaven Records will release Tarot's first two albums as LP. Neither of these albums - The Spell Of Iron (1986) and Follow Me Into Madness (1988) - has been available as a vinyl LP after its original release.

The albums are packed in gatefold sleeves, printed inner bags and the audio masters have been tuned for the vinyl release by band's keyboardist Janne Tolsa in his studio. Both are also made in color vinyl, which is exclusively available at Levykauppa X (Record Shop X).

We're devastated to inform that our dear drummer Pecu Cinnari has passed away last night due to a long-term illness.

As initially also reported, Tarot's participation in the European tour with Pain has been cancelled. However, instead of making an excuse and blaming the finances for it, the actual reason for our cancellation is that there's a really serious illness in the family of one of our band members. At first we thought this was too personal to share, but in the end, the truth is always better. We are sorry we couldn't come over, another day friends...

Tarot is currently recording their 9th studio album entitled as "Gravity of Light". The album is scheduled to be released in spring 2010. Along the new album comes a tour, which includes also a gig in Moscow, Russia. Upcoming summer festivals will be confimed later.

Tarot is very sorry for the cancelling of the Earthshaker 2007 tour.

This is really sad to us and you fans.
You were great at the gigs that we were able to play. So great thanks to all of you, we love you.

Metallysee agency fucked up the whole tour and we couldn't do anything else than getting ourselves back to home. Each band on the tour tried to do all the gigs, but Metallysee simply didn't handle any of the promised things.

The backline was shitty and different than what it was said in the contract. They couldn’t take care any of the expenses - buses, food, drinks, even the tour manager got lost in the beginning of the tour and so on. There came these two guys to trying fix things that could possible be fixed, but obviously they couldn’t do miracles.

Everyday started by the rumouring…are we going to do the today's gig or not, do we have to cancel the tour today, or what? And the next day started the same way. It was really disturbing and made us all feel down.

The bus company even put us on the streets of Hamburg for the one day off because they didn’t get any money from Metallysee to carry on. All the tour buses were old, dirty and didn’t have enough space to begin with. They even gave us (Troll and Tarot) a bus that didn’t have enough beds for all the band members and techs. Fuck Metallysee!

After the last gig we made in Hirsch we heard it was done. We didn’t receive any reasonable information what was going on, who’s going where or how to arrange the people or the equipment back to home. The Earthshaker manager came by and gave us some excuses and helped us out so that we could find our way to the Berlin airport by night.

All the bands had to get away from the tour at their own expense. Metallysee didn’t pay any of the flights. I got home yesterday evening ‘cos we couldn't get flight tickets earlier and had to spend one more night in a hotel in Berlin at our own expense with Tommi and Marco.

The Sweden guys and girls had to go home by train from Nuernburg, right after their gig. They didn’t even have enough time to get a shower. Can you believe that?

All this kind of shit we got from Metallysee every day, incredible? It is certain that our managements will never do any kind of co-operation with this company and if they don’t take their responsibility on this shit, we are eventually going to see them in court.

The vodka Gorbatschow flavoured Crows Over Germany 2007 tour report has been finally gathered together.

Tarot will appear on the Finnish V2 movie soundtrack album which
will be released tomorrow 5th of January.

The premier of "V2 - Jäätynyt enkeli" is on January the 12th.

Tarot teams up with the Earthshaker Roadshock tour which will start late April 2007 having seventeen shows across the Europe.

Be also noted that the Finnish metal heads / skiers Diablo will accompany Tarot on the Crows Over Germany 2007 tour.

On the official release date of Crows Fly Black, the new version of Wings of Darkness -website has arrived.

The website has experienced a complete visual facelift and a structural update. The biggest new feature on the site is the jukebox feature at the Sounds-section allowing you to listen Tarot album tracks while you browse the site.

Crows Fly Black pre-listening session featuring three new tracks from the new album will be aired on Finnish YleX radio show Metalliliitto on thursday 12.10.

The soon to be released next full length Tarot album is called Crows Fly Black. Excluding the group backing vocals the whole album has now been recorded and the album will be mixed and mastered at Finnvox studios in the beginning of next month.

In the middle of touring the summer festivals, Tarot has been also active and sweating in the studio. Currently Pecu has played the drums for all the 10 upcoming album tracks and Zac just finished all of his guitar parts. Half of the tracks already contain their basses and next week Janne is about to step in to do his synth parts. Marco's and Tuple's vocal recordings are to start after the next week and the new album should be in the mix at the end of september at Finnvox.
