I played the piano for a couple of years. Really loved it. I think it was a Yamaha. A couple of weeks ago I tried to play my friends keyboard. It was pretty difficult. Strange, because you would think that there is not a big difference between a piano and a keyboard.

Most of my time I play the synths in my band.
I play a Korg Triton Le 76. Most of the Sounds I created myself.
And then there is my little Korg X5D, it`s not that new but the string-sound is ass kicking!!!
I also play Guitar, just for myself. I have some acoustic-guitars like a yamaha cpx 8.
My latest toy is my Epiphone LP custom with two EMG's. I fell in love with the sound. Clean as well as distortion.

Hello
Here are my instruments:
This is my first one,it is an old bass guitar, made in transilvania, top of the neck like a telecaster, the body like the normal fender jazz bass, and some vintage pickups.I use warwick 40 string, and combine whit that pick ups, comes out a nice vintage sound.
http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/2254/dscn1139ao4.jpg
My second one,is a sologuitar, stratocaster copy, made in the same factory like my bass, only this is 20 year younger than the bass.I made some modification on the electronics, humbucker changed, rewired.

The third is a Vorson,i have changed one pickup,i put a nice paitjob, inspired by Eddy Van Halans guitars, electronics changed, and rewired.

Great topic, Not only the subject, but people using links to pics, not pics straight here, the way to go.
Here would be a couple of pics from my Tama Starclassic Maple drumset:

Thought I may as well add this (my "rig"):
http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i153/kossiez/TimsAmp.jpg
This is the new amp and cabinet I bought new for $500, a special down from about $1100. I was really happy to find it, since before that I only had a small practice amp. It's Australian made, I think it just emulates a tube amp, but it gets a nice sound on my decent guitars (not the black one pictured...) and a screaming lead sound with my pedal! TI like the red leather colour - not really metal looking, but that will surprise some people when it unleashes ultimate space viking metal brutality!!!

Reviving an ancient thread...heh..
I am learning bass, I have an Ibanez GSR200FM, which I've found out to be a very good starter. I love this thing, mahogany body, sounds good, the neck is comfy...since I read music already (from middle & high school band) alot of what me and my teacher do is refresher, then learning whats what on the frets, coordination and such. Already have plenty of experience as to what the role of the bass is having played tuba/sousaphone; also trombone and baritone as well.
The only thing that drives me nuts and I'm working on my tech with it, muting the strings...sympathetic vibration..I thought my bass was haunted until I told my teacher about it. I'm ok at it, but I forget and get lazy.
My current goal is just to learn to play the thing, and play well; if I decide to attempt to actually play in a band...that'll come much much later.
Since I'm only learning, my amp isn't anything special, just a Fender 25w but it's great, got a deal off Ebay for it. My brother gave me a bunch of stuff like a tuner, cables, the strap...

And pretty soon, my cousin is giving me her old Fender Squier + amp + hard case...pretty stoked. I can learn how different it feels and sounds from my Ibby.
I'll get a good pic soon as I get it.
Update: Ahhh got my Squier Affinity today:

Has a nice thumping sound, needs to have the pots looked at, the dials are loose other than that..it's pretty nice for another low end bass.

These are all real nice, I like talking about instruments!!
I got this a couple months back after I joined a death metal band. They tune to B standard, I usually use 7 strings so I wanted to still have that lower string:
http://www.drumcityguitarland.com/drumcitygl/stores/1/images/Schecter/Schecter%20HR%20C-8%20BCH.jpg
Except mine's Black. I also have a 7 string Schecter with a floyd rose, they just make a good guitar. This 8 string is pretty damn cool. It has a shorter scale length than I'm used to, but it feels really nice and the EMG pickups are pretty versatile for metal and also some bassy jazz stuff I've been trying
Oh yeah, and it does get a pretty heavy sound

Oh wow that Schec is nice! I'm a red person, I dig the color in the pic..but either way, very sweet.
My brother likes Schecter. He had a stroke almost a year ago, so right now he can't play. He sold everything except his Shec...that's his baby. Thankfully, he's beginning to move his left hand again, in about a year we'll be jamming together.
Got my Fender fixed up by my teacher, he loves it. He played with me during our session yesterday, it was cool. Gotta get strings, other than that, its in great shape. I think I love it more than my Ibanez....is that bad? LOL! Fender makes one hell of a bass.

Thanks man! That's real sad about your brother. But good to hear he's getting some movement back! And yeah Fender does indeed make one hell of a bass. Well, I have a Squier 5 string, picked it up new last yeah for about $250, which I thought was awesome for a 5 string. I was in the shop and just jammed on it for ages, its great! Ive played nicer, more expensive basses, but you get a good raw feeling from playing something a bit cheaper and rougher - like you put more into it and get one hell of a sound back.... maybe thats stupid, but its one way to look at itl!!
Schecter just make a great guitar, especially considering the price. I guess these days a bunch of companies can charge whatever they want for equipment, and I'm sure an ESP or Jackson that costs $5 grand would sound nice, but I got a 7 string shecter with a floyd rose and active pickups new for $500... Having said that, I do like Ibanez too and they're a little more pricey. And I'm sure I'd buy some real nice vintage gibson or fender or something if I had lots of money to burn, haha!

Oh hell if I had the money..I've got a short list of basses I hope to own someday.
A Fender P & J bass
Then a Straight jazz cos ya just gotta have one P, one J and one with both. ha! Gotta be ones built down the street here in Corona.
Ibanez SR750
Ibby SR500
I seriously dig Marco's Vampyre, that would be a hallmark in my collection if could get my hands on one. Wicks are hard to find around here, at least the high end ones are. Easy to find a Corvette...
If I'm crazy enough (and I am) I got my two learners, thats enough for now; might just try to save for a Vamp.

Same here on Marco's basses, I really did the Infinity - a lot! I once saw a 6 string version of the Infinity and that looked so ridiculously cool. But hey, I like extra strings on things. It makes me feel special, haha!
Too bad Warwick's are expensive... again, might have to go with Schecter, they also make a nice bass! Err... I'm pluggin them now.

dude plug em all you wanna haha
So yep, I've decided to really save for that Vampyre but it'll take a few years...they're about $4,000...say $1k a year, should be good enough in 4 yrs to join a band somewhere...if they'll hire a middle aged fat chick HAHAHAH or maybe my teacher will form a band with his students, that'd be a kick
im a wimp, I'll stick with 4 strings for now hahah!
Oh man this is wicked, popped over to the wick site, i hope you can see this custom airbrushed vamp

Infinity NT is so nice, I like the looks, shape and the f holes. Course we know how they sound with Marco's tuning. Amazing. That sells me on one right there. My teacher had one of the other Infinity models in his studio so I *HAD* to be nosy and check it out, it was half strung in the middle of being worked on but wow, what a piece of quality, that thing was solid and heavy. Beautiful feel to it, good neck. If it was strung with all 5, I would have begged to try it out lol
So that sold me too LOL...
Speaking of which...I need to go practice LOL....

Whoa - looking at that, I only just realised the Vampyre body looks like a violin only with evil horns. I reckon F Holes on that and a nice wood finish would look incredible on it!! (Although it does look pretty cool anyway)

Now that would be interesting a Vampyre / Infinity crossbreed haahah
it'll be quite a few years before I would have enough, someday..
Probably have a Ibanez SR50o0E before, especialyl when I just found about the bridge this one has, monorail - each saddle is separate, it's not a whole bridge like normal, it's weird. supposedly eliminates sympathetic vibrations...
http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ibanez-SR5000E-Prestige-Bass-Guitar?sku=580525
its a nice looking bass, but the monorail bridge is what sold me on it

Ahh I made a killing yesterday
So the story goes my Ibanez was defective, backbowed neck..got full credit back and on display there is this very new looking Warwick Corvette Standard in the used gear area, checked it out, played it...fell in love. Everything they say about wicks is true. Hell of a sound and found it was very comfy to play. It's a 6-2002 built, and all German craftsmanship.
All this for $500. (new they're $1300 and Korean built)

My first wick...damn proud of it too. Crappy pic my bro took with my phone..bleah..lol
and from now on, that is my lucky shirt. LOL

Oh no! Sorry to hear, heal it up nice and you can get back at it.
I pick this bass up on the 26th, some state law for a background check to make sure it's not stolen..I was really seriously ticked off cos the guy said I could pick it up on Monday, the 10th...well, the sales guy got in BIG trouble LOL...so I gotta wait a couple weeks, I'm just really anxious to play it again.

Hello all I'm new here and this is my first post! So I'm proudly writing I play the piano for 11 years. I'm not very good, but I love it and I play just for fun, so I don't mind I'm not "the best".
