Hello
I'm thinking of buying an amp in some months , and I'd like to know what is the amp marco uses , or would use in the actual warwick's line , cause his sound is ... tooooo enormous :p and I'd like to have something that approaches it
(and just to know , what cabs he uses too (I've already chosen that part )
I also would like to know why he chose warwick (or warwick chose him)
(even if i understand that the warwick sound is just too ... too :p I'd like to know what he thinks )

I think it says on his bio on the Nightwish site what he uses... maybe not
I have a hardware question myself. I've been playing guitar a couple years now on my little Laney practice amp (which is actually really good!), and my Samick SG copy. I was looking into Jackson Randy Rhoad V's, but I heard they went to shit after Fender bought them out, and I also didn't see one on their online site with 24 frets. I looked into the ESP Alexi model, as its pretty much what I want, but that was gonna cost $8000 (Australian)!!!!!!! So the Jackson RRV is only around $1000. Does anyone have any experience with modern Jackons?? Someone's opinion would be cool! Otherwise, are there any other quality/affordable Flying V model guitars anyone could recommend? Definetly after 24 frets and a floyd rose trem system.
Also wouldn't mind looking into a stack as well. In Australia, probably the most quality/affordable are the Line 6 amps and cabs. Love to go Marshall, but just too expensive at the moment!!! I like my dirty sounding overdrive, with a screaming lead. Then comes in wahs....

In the studio he doesn't actually use any amp, straight to MAC with SunsAmp pedal or plug ins.
Sometimes in the mixing sessions, we put the clean signal through the amp and scabinets to get some ambient, but this depends what do we need for the song.
Live with Nw he uses Warwick amps and cabinets with SunsAmp rack pre-amp.
Usually with Tarot 50W heavily customized old Marshall head and Marshall cabinet with two 15" and Hartke 4x10" aluminium speakers.
I said usually... sometimes these equipment varies or be mixed together.
Basses he's using are Warwicks, but he has great Kramer American too, which he uses rarely now on.

HOOyea, Marshall- the absolute favourite and classic. I make most places, where small townsband can play, use marshall! They're the best, the one and only with great equipment!
