YEP!!! GOT IT!!! The "End of an Era" double CD and DVD box!!! Yeehaaaa!
Also seen the documentary in which Marco (espacially for us apes?) weares the Tarot T-shirt! And in the last minute, guess who appeares?
YES! "Our" own Zac!! (Also in a Tarot shirt..)
Well, the end of the show was a bit emotional, you know, knowing what was going to happen next..........but the show itself was superior!! I enjoyed it very, very much!! Buy it, it's great!!

I must get this DVD!!!! I remember the old DVD where Marco was in the documentary with Sinergy. That was the greatest thing ever seeing Roope Latvala, Alexi Laiho and Marco Hietala together.... all my heroes singing about a mutant with 6 penises or whatever, hahahha!

I have discovered metal music with the first Nightwhish's album, Angel Falls First.
I'm a true fan of Nightwish, my favourite album is Century Child, I think it's because of Marco (well I don't know if "because" is the right word but I don't know another one to express my idea !). The bass is the third first albums wasn't really present, and Sami Vanska had less presence than Marco. I ain't criticizing him, because he made part of the band and the third first albums are awesome.
Century Child is "more awesome" !! Maybe more heavy, louder, Tarja's voice is perfect, and Marco's parts too.
However, I think Once is ... I don't have word to say it, because it's not bad, there's a great work. But Tarja's voice has changed, there's too much symphonic parts, it's sounds like something commercial ... listen to Nemo, listen to Dead Boy's Poem ... listen to The Siren, listen to Bless The Child ... Ghost Love Score is a great song from the comosition point of view, but this is not Music, with a big M as the past songs ! ^^
Well I think this album is a bit behind the others, but it stays a Nightwish album ! But Wish I Had An Angel, or Higher Than Hope are awesome, and Two Hawks is greatful !
My brother have bought End of an Era ... I have only seen the first song ... I am voiceless !
Enjoy music
EDIT : I have to say that on stage, all the Nightwish's songs are great, great great greaaat !

I've finally listened to "end of an era"
and well it is greaaaaaaaaat
Marco was really at it , and everybody too , It's full of emotion , maybe too much
It must've been hard for everybody this night ...
To conclude , I will quote marco ...
"Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah fucking yeaaaaaaaaaaah" (on the beginning of the last one , wihaa ;p )

I'm crazy about Nightwish too. Thats why I am a little afraid of this new singer. Will it be very different from what Nightwish used to be? Will Nightwish get a new identity? Or does this new singer tries to be a 'Tarja'? I really liked Tarja. So I'll just wait and see.

Released on May 30, 2007, “Eva” will be an internet-only single release, all profits of which shall be donated to a charity that will be announced later. In Finland, the single is available exclusively from NetAnttila.
“Eva” features the new Nightwish vocalist, chosen from about 2,000 applicants. The singer’s identity will be revealed simultaneously in a press statement and on the band’s website, www.nightwish.com, on Wednesday, May 30, 2007. A radio promo of the internet single will ship on the same day.
The sixth Nightwish album will be released on September 26, 2007, preceded by a second, regular single release in August. |

Eva like a woman who comes to east of Europe,
Eva like temptation,
Eva like the mother of everybody,

Yes indeed, Nightwish is a great band and not to mention the Hartwall gig (was there ofcourse!) But it bothers me that they cut all Marco's speeches from between the songs.. He had a bunch of funny things to say again but they got cut away dammit!
Cant wait to get on the album release gig...!

I have listened at Nightwish ever since they started, and Tarja's voice has changed so much under the years, so I don't care about the voice.
Nightwish started with a very new style (nowdays it's normal to have a female vocalist), and Tarja's opera-voice was back then very awesome. By the years Tarja's voice changed (compare Sleeping Sun's new and old version). I saw at Ankkarock 2005 that it wasn't the same. Not only the voice, but also that Tarja got credit for everything.
Tarja was not a part of that band anymore. Suddenly I understood that I just wanted to listen at that band, not her anymore.
It was weird for an old Nightwish-fan to see that.
But still, Tarot is number one.
It’s getting darker and more painful, that means it’s healing.

I love how Zac makes an appearance in the last performance in the End of an Era DVD documentary; I was so surprised, I thought it a little random to see Zac come in and say to John Two-Hawks 'Hi, I am Marco's older brother'. I love how Emppu sees Zac and they greet each other; as if Zac is a heavy metal god; which he is.
Marco's pre-performance rituals are awesome; and when they are just jamming together is fun too!
Nightwish should do a song about Tarot called: "They Rule!"

By the way, Zac can also be seen on "End of Innocence". I just had a look, for those who are interested, it's around 1:25-26. It's quite funny...
