I was at Nightwish gig in Lithuania 17.2-08 with Zac and Tuple, so here are some pictures from this GREAT trip.
By Nightwish bus to the gig : Mom is proud of her son, again
In backstage: Killing the time
The gig:
Little bit fire
More Fire
Hell as fire
After the gig:
The Sheik of beer
LOVELY Anette
Who turned the lights off?
By bus to the city:
Calling to the Outer Space
Emppu´s dance
One more drink
Here are my Souvenirs
And this was my best moment: she is so LOVELY
And here is Wish I Had An Angel live video from the Lithuania gig:
WIHAA
It was so nice to see you Sarawi and your husband. And of course Ricarda (if you read this)
Thanks Zac, Tuple, Nightwish & Ewo!
So take this number and welcome...

When it comes to The Siren: I miss Tarja.
She does something incredible with her voice on the album.
Annette is a good singer. But some songs just don't sound like they should without Tarja. I still think that Tarja';s voice suites better with the band especially in the duets with Marco.
I hope Nightwish will keep on rocking though. Because they still make great music and I will always have a special place for them in my heart

I saw Marco and Nightwish two days in a row this week!
I went to the album signing on Wednesday and they look even more amazing in person; I was wearing my Tarot shirt at the time and when I got my album signed, Marco looked at me and smiled, saying "Nice shirt", I was so wobbly at the knees and nervous! I said to him very nervously "oh yes, I like their stuff!". Tuomas looked very elegant, and Anette was stunning as always; Emppu and Jukka looked very tired; I wonder if Jukka always wears his bandana!!
Last night, I saw the amazing Nightwish in person! They were simply amazing; what I love most about them is that they seem to communicate to each other when performing; like when Tuomas gives a thumbs up to Emppu after their double solos; or the way Annette moves around and does a bit of air guitar.
I love nightwish; I discovered them by playing on my second hand MP3 player on 'random' and this song was playing...it sounded interesting, and good, and then when I heard this voice I thought...wow. I wanted to know more about that voice and this music; the song was 'Wish I had an Angel', and the voice was Marco; I later discovered Tarot and well...the rest is history
They are an amazing band, and they led me to Tarot, which is my most favourite band. They also made me discover Finnish metal.
Marco Rules!!!!

I just got tickets last week to see Nightwish in Canada, Winnipeg, MB... I picked them up the same day I got tickets to see Iron Maiden in the same country and same city. This will mark the first time I will see Nightwish in the past year. Currently, they honestly rank as the best live show I've ever seen, above many all time favorites like Ozzy Osbourne (circa 1995), White Zombie, and Dream Theater... those were my top 3 previously. I have a feeling that my all time favorite band of all time, Iron Maiden, will probably bump them down a notch come June 2008, but I look for my second Nightwish show in May to rank somewhere near the top like the other show.

I want to share these two videos here with you
The first one is 6:20 long "Nightwish video"
where you can ride with me...
It could be called "From Alta With Love 2007":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0bLvb88hzU
When you travel to the north there is
"Cold Midwinter Nights" at wintersolstice time
since there is darkness and night 24/7
Near summersolstice time there is bright daylight and day 24/7
so the second video is
"Jalven Veljet - VALOISA PÄIVÄ" (BRIGHT DAY)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kM8tTKZ9zr4
Sceneries are from northern Finland at Teno river
and near Pub Staalonpesä 99990 Nuorgam.
There is more northern sceneries and songs on the Jalven Veljet DVD!
THANK YOU "JALVE´S BROTHERS" and NIGHTWISH!
Yours, Jaska - I.O.C. Finland

This one is for the real nightwish-fans*:
I have been watching my nightwish dvd's again. While watching the End Of Innocence documentairy I heard a song. You can even hear it when the credits are being played. I think I hear Tarja's voice but I can't figure out what song it is.
Btw, the Hietala brothers steal the show, even after watching it 20 times
*I thought I was a huge fan but I guess it's not enough.
